The room was impeccably clean and spacious. She remembered names, snuck a face paint in for her sister after it was "closed" and was overall so sweet. I believe one worker named Bri and her typical partner (I forgot her name) made my girls trip even greater. We were there during the summer camp out, my kids had a blast with the duckie 500, story time, crafts and the workers in general in charge of the dancing and such. They are younger workers but clearly take their jobs seriously. My 10 yo would wave to each one of the lifeguards in the lazy river and not a single one missed her wave. The lifeguards there are by far the most attentive I've ever seen. We went the water park before check in and had a blast. Immediately we were greated with amazing front desk staff who were incredibly helpful since I booked in a rush and needed to add the wolf passes and character breakfast and such. As expected, it wasn't cheap, but man was it was worth it. In all honesty, I'm so glad we had that first awful experience at the other place because it forced me to book the GWL and we had a BLAST. Literally in the middle of the night I found availability at this GWL and booked it. When we arrived at this cheaper option, it was dirty and unsafe. We planned a vacation to a cheaper option in Wisconsin. I could never justify the price with our budget. My wolf pack of 5 (kids ages 10,7,4) have been wanting to go to GWL for years.
